Have you reset your modem lately? (Friday, May 4, 2007)
Got any problems with your High Speed, High Speed Ultra, Basic or Basic Lite service? Try resetting your modem. It’s a fast, practical way to solve many of the connection problems you may experience.
- Modem with an “on/off” switch – Turn off your modem for 30 seconds, then turn it back on.
OR
- Modem without an “on/off” switch – Unplug your modem, then plug it back in.
If you have a home networking router that connects your computers to each other, turn it off after your modem powers down. Wait until your modem has restarted before you turn your router back on.
Even if you’re not having any problems with your Internet connection, you should still follow the steps above. Reset your modem (and your router, if you have one) at least once a month (for maintenance purposes).

Internet Explorer 7 to be pushed to XP this month (Monday, October 9, 2006)
News out of Redmond is that IE 7 will be pushed to XP customers this month.
The automatic push (if you have Automatic Updates) can be denied or delayed, but will be pushed out and offered automatically. I love IE 7, but it will break some applications, so test thoroughly before committing in your environment.

WINDOWS XP SP1 SUPPORT DRAWS TO A CLOSE (Friday, October 6, 2006)
Microsoft Corp. is recommending that all customers still running Windows XP SP1 immediately upgrade to Windows XP SP2, as the company's support for SP1 will end next week.
